The Board of Directors is made up of volunteers who oversee the operations, budget, bylaws, standing rules and protocol for the Grassy Knob Volunteer Fire Department. The board consists of a President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Fireman’s Rep, EMT Rep, and three Directors, all of whom vote on issues. Non-Voting members include the Fire Chief, Business Manager, Building and Grounds Mgr., Auxiliary Rep, Community Center Rep, and Membership Rep. Most positions are for 1 year but some are for two.

  
BOARD MEETINGS are held the 2nd Monday of every month at 4pm in the Community Center.
Monthly Meeting Minutes are usually posted on the Bulletin Board at the Community Center. While the center Is closed, they can be requested via the recording secretary.

 
THE ANNUAL MEETING is held in the beginning of June each year to elect the new board and vote one any major issue.

THE ORGANIZATION  runs by Roberts Rules of Order with Bylaws and Standing Rules. Copies available via email on request to recording secretary.

THE BUDGET is comprised of Member fees, Grants, Donations and Fund Raisers.
